Making Rowing More Diverse and Competitive 

Fundraiser is active until April 15th!

As you may know, through our Marin Rowing DEI Committee we are partnering with some amazing organizations including Play Marin, Bridge the Gap College Prep, and USRowing’s STEM-to-Stern, to host a summer program for underserved middle-school age youth.  

Play Marin of Marin City will bring a group of their middle-schoolers to MRA this July to learn rowing, and to participate in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) classes through Bridge the Gap College Prep. We hope to make this a year-round program for middle-schoolers in our greater Marin community,

We're excited to announce that STEM-to-Stern has partnered with Campfire Coffee for a fundraiser to support STEM-to-Stern programs throughout the US.  By participating, MRA will be raising funds to directly support our summer program. Half of the money raised from purchasing this delicious coffee will go directly to our efforts to make our club more accessible, diverse, and competitive.
