PARIS GOOD

I was born and raised in Mill Valley, but didn’t start rowing until getting to the University of British Columbia in 2004. My college rowing career was short-lived because this Californian couldn’t handle Vancouver’s year round cold and rain. I tried to get back into a boat for years but it wasn’t until the pandemic and the flexibility of work from home that I could make the timing work. I joined MRA in 2021 on the Novice team and now row with the Master’s Women’s B team.

Professionally, I’ve worked in the geospatial industry for the last 15 years focusing on project management, customer success, remote sensing, process engineering, and GIS analysis. I am an effective problem solver with strong organizational skills and would be excited to bring these skills to the MRA board. DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) has long been a passion and a focus of mine and I would love to continue to emphasize that work at MRA. At my current company, I am one of the leads for our WonderWomen employee resource group where I champion equality and promote inclusivity for those that identify as women.
