This site relies on MRA members and parents for its content. We encourage you to write news items, upload photos, add calendar events, and web links. Content submitted to the site is screened by the webmaster prior to going live on the site.
Here's how to submit content:
News Stories.
To have a news item posted to this site, send the full text of the news to the webmaster.
Calendar Event.
To post an event in the site's calendar, you enter the name of the event, the event type (race, meeting, etc.), the start & end date/time, whether this is an all-day event (such as a birthday - in which case the start/end time is ignored), the location (e.g., "the boathouse"), and a brief description of the event. (The other fields are optional.)

Files.
To add a file (a PDF, Excel file, Word file, etc.) to the site's "Files" section, you first select which folder you'd like the file to reside in. Then hit the "browse" button and select the file on your hard drive that you want to upload. Then add the name of the file, and give it a description.

Photos.
To add photos to the site's photo gallery, email the webmaster at admin@marinrowing.org, and tell him what you have photos of. A gallery will be created for you on the main gallery page, which you can upload your pictures to. Uploading is very easy -- you can upload photos one by one, or zip them all up into one file and upload that file. The gallery will automatically unzip the file and create the thumbnail image. Once the pictures have been uploaded, you can add captions to them, rearrange the order of the pictures, and so on. The webmaster can walk you through the process. Note that you can also upload your pictures to the site's FTP server and ask the webmaster to upload them for you -- it's up to you.
