Mara Allen, Marin '04, Cal '08, just became the clubs most successful junior woman by making the National Team and winning a gold medal in at the 2009 World Championships in Poznan, Poland. Mara had a successful career with Marin, winning the silver medal at the '04 Jr. National Championship and with Cal, winning the NCAA Championships in the V8+ in both '05 and '06, her freshman and sophomore years. Mara tried out for and made the National Team in her first year out of college and when on to make the top 8+ to race at the World Championships. Needless to say, we are all very proud to have Mara as a part of the great history of Marin athletes. Congratulations.
