On-Land Emergency Procedures

FIRST:  DIAL 911 or Find Someone to Call

Phone is located on the wall of the building next to the table between the locker rooms.

In case of a MEDICAL EMERGENCY:

1. DIAL 911
2. Use appropriate Medical First Aid Kit located under the table between the locker rooms.
3. Administer CPR if appropriate.
4. An AED is located at the top of the stairs facing the erg room. Look for AED sign.

In case of an EARTHQUAKE:

1. Do not use the elevator.
2. Get away from windows and hanging objects.
3. Follow exit signs & exit the building as safely as possible.
4. Following the earthquake, turn off all utilities.
5. UTILITIES SHUT-OFF is on the wall on the water side of the building in front of the 4+’s rack.

In case of FIRE:

1. Do not use the elevator.
2. Follow exit signs and EVACUATE the building.
3. DIAL 911
4. Meet at ASSEMBLY AREA on the bike path in front of the MRA dock ramp.
5. IF FIRE IS SMALL AND CONTAINED, use fire extinguishers located throughout the building. Extinguishers are located throughout the building. Look for signs.
