Tsunami hits Corte Madera Creek

We watched from the erg room, and a few scullers from the water, the tsunami hit the Corte Madera Creek this morning. The tide was running out, then picked up to a remarkable speed going out and changed directions in a moment as the surge came in. The incoming surge eventually slowed and again changed directions as it went back out, again at remarkable speed. That has happened three times now! We are glad that the tide was low, as I believe there would have been flooding had the tide been high. Low tide also gave us a chance to really see the surge come in and go out. Amazing. We have suffered no damage at all as the water never got to the edge.
