Mike Altman makes 2008 USA Olympic Team in Lt4-

Mike Altman (rowing 2 seat in photo, right) was selected today for the USA Lightweight 4- in Beijing. Mike was a member of Marin Rowing Varsity in 1991 and 1992. Mike is a 7-time National team member, and was a spare in the 2004 Olympics.

This makes the 5th Olympics in a row with a Marin Rowing Alumni. 1992 Tim Evans, Scott Munn; 1996 Fred Honebein; 2000 Nito Simonsen; 2004 Nito Simonsen.

Mike will also be in the USA Lightweight 8 that will row in Austria before the Olympics. This is a NUN-FUNDED trip, so if you would like to help them please go to:
